Founder & Therapist

Kevin Vun

He-Him / Queer-Gay

You don’t need another therapist who just listens—you need someone who actually helps you move forward.

I work with individuals and relationships who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, and want real change—not surface-level coping. My approach is direct, collaborative, and deeply attuned to who you are. Together, we make sense of what’s happening, break patterns that no longer serve you, and build something more grounded, honest, and sustainable.

Clients often come to me for depth—whether that’s navigating relationships, identity, addiction, or emotional patterns that feel hard to shift alone. I integrate evidence-based approaches with real-world practicality, so therapy doesn’t just stay in the room—it translates into your life.

If you’re ready to do meaningful work (at your pace, but with intention), you’re in the right place.

Different Starting Points, Same Human Experience

Individuals Feeling Stuck or Overwhelmed
Relationship & Attachment Challenges

For individuals or couples struggling with communication, disconnection, trust, or repeating relationship cycles. We focus on what’s actually happening beneath conflict so you can rebuild connection, clarity, and healthier ways of relating.

Identity, Sexuality & Life Transitions

For those exploring identity, sexuality, belonging, or going through major life shifts. This is a space to untangle confusion, reduce internal pressure, and move toward a more grounded, authentic sense of self.

Addiction, Coping & Compulsive Patterns

For people navigating anxiety, burnout, low mood, or a sense that something in life just isn’t working anymore. This work helps you understand what’s driving your patterns and builds practical tools to create real emotional change—not just short-term relief.

For people using substances, sex, porn, work, or other behaviours to manage emotional pain or stress. We focus on understanding the function of the behaviour and building safer, more sustainable ways to cope without shame or judgement.

Common Questions

How do I know if therapy with you is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck in patterns you can’t shift alone—whether in relationships, mood, identity, or coping strategies—this work is likely a good fit. You don’t need to have it all figured out before starting. We work that out together.

What actually happens in a session with you?
Sessions are collaborative, direct, and grounded in what’s happening in your life, and what's lead you here, and where you want to go. We slow things down, identify patterns, and work toward practical and emotional change—not just insight, but movement.

Do you only work with serious mental health issues?
No. Many clients come in at a crossroads rather than a crisis—feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of their direction. Others are dealing with anxiety, addiction patterns, relationship challenges, or identity questions. All of it is welcome.

How long will I need therapy for?
It depends on your goals. Some people come for short-term focused work, others stay longer for deeper relational or emotional patterns. We regularly review progress so you’re never stuck in therapy that no longer serves you. I truly can't guarantee how long something will take, no therapist can really. However simply tell me what you're open to, and I can tell you my best clinical opinion, potential treatment options, and how therapy might look like with me.

What makes your approach different?
I don’t just focus on symptom management. I work with the deeper patterns underneath—how you relate, cope, attach, and protect yourself—so change is more lasting and integrated into your actual life. I'm an integrative therapist, so I have numerous ways of working, and I'm constantly working with you to tailor a suitable approach for you, what we're working on, and what our goals are.

I hear you work with expats?
That I do. I've lived in 5 of the 7 continents, so I know a thing or two about what us expats/citizens of the globe, might be going through.

Are you religious?
I was raised Catholic. Went church hopping, faith exploring, became spiritual, an atheist, and now I simply do what's right for me. I'm curious about life, faith, humanity, and have always loved myths and science.

Do you understand the gay scene or circuit party world?
Yes. As a former party boy I do. And I've worked in the community, with our community across the globe too.

Is online or in person better?
It's whatever you're comfortable with. If you're unsure, try both, and allow yourself to be flexible so you can have both options if your circumstances ever change.

I hear you're in Sydney sometimes?
Yes, though not often—usually around the end of the year and Chinese New Year. Most of my Sydney clients are comfortable working online, and when I’m in Sydney, we’ll often meet in person. Some also choose to use that time for extended sessions while I’m there.
